Here is the official "trailer" for MindCandy Volume 1: PC Demos.
It was originally presented at the Assembly 2002 party in Helsinki in August, and has been reworked slightly to reflect MindCandy's final content.
RealPlayer/RealOne is required to view any RealVideo videos.
All MPEG-4 videos are not DivX, but are instead real ISO/IEC 14496 Simple Profile MPEG-4 videos.
To play them, you can use RealPlayer 9 or higher, Quicktime 6 or higher, or a dedicated MPEG-4 player such as Dicas' ISO MPEG-4 player.
If you're having trouble accessing the trailers, a mirror of selected MindCandy content has been provided by Jason Scott. You may know Jason as the curator of textfiles.com and the BBS documentary project, so check them out.

Want to listen to some of the menu and demo music on the DVD?
We had more audio commentary than we could use! Mostly it was our own commentary that didn't make it onto the DVD because some groups contributed their own, but
there were some extra snippets of contributed commentary that we couldn't use as well. Here are some of them, with more posted in the following weeks:
- 2nd Reality - recording test (8.4 MB)
Jeremy was able to edit together some great commentary for 2nd Reality based on the video interview FC sent us, so we decided to use 2nd Reality as a recording test. We knew we weren't going to use this commentary, so please excuse some of the stupid things we said :-)
- 303 - unused commentary (3.4 MB)
Alex "Statix" Evans came through with commentary, so the piece we recorded was cut from the DVD.
- Broadband: Take 1 (2.4 MB)
We had to abort this commentary for Broadband because my sons, Sam and Max, were fighting upstairs so loudly that we could hear it all the way down in the basement. And thanks to the power of digital audio, now you can too! :-)
- Further - unused commentary (2.5 MB)
Moppi Productions came through with commentary, so the piece we recorded was cut from the DVD.
- Gerbera - unused commentary (3.3 MB)
Moppi Productions came through with commentary, so the piece we recorded was cut from the DVD.
- Hi there! (0.1 MB)
Aborted Further commentary after an obviously silly start :-)
- Paimen - Virne commentary, take 1 (2.7 MB)
Virne sent us two commentaries for Paimen. We felt the second one was best, so that's what made the DVD. Here is his first commentary, which is also insightful.
- Paimen - unedited beginning (0.4 MB)
Virne started recording his commentary before the demo started, so this beginning portion of his commentary was edited out of the demo.
- Paimen - unused commentary (2.5 MB)
Virne provided us with not one but two pieces of commentary for Paimen, so ours was unused.
- Square - unedited ending (0.3 MB)
Statix kept talking after the demo ended, so we had to edit this portion of his commentary out of the dvd.
- Square - unused commentary (2.9 MB)
Alex provided us with commentary for Square after we recorded this for the DVD, so ours was cut.
